HEY BROKIES!

here's yet another chance to support your favorite movie! Brokeback Mountain made it into two catagories for the upcoming awards MTV 2006 awards show! Another topic was made a little while ago but at the time, but people couldn't get through, so here's the new working link (above)

1. BEST PERFORMANCE - Jake Gyllenhaal - Brokeback Mountain (Focus Features)
2. BEST KISS - Jake Gyllenhaal & Heath Ledger – Brokeback Mountain (Focus Features)

sadly, brokeback only made it into 2 categories. I'm sure all of you would agree with me that it'll fit perfectly right in the "best movie" and "breakthrough performances" catagory too huh? but its good nonetheless. For those who have trouble viewing it in firefox, try Internet Explorer. if it still doesn't work, it might be your flash. I suggest updating it by going to the official site

there's the direct link for the flash version 8.0 (i think its the latest). the award's show is June 8th, so the voting ends May 19th. Voting online isn't the only way though, there are other ways. Here i'll quote a website

I'm going to tell a HECK lot of people, vote at home & at school daily using the school computers, tell everybody on myspace, & the people i went to go see it with, etc. With everybody's help, and tellings (word-of-mouth), this movie will win For Sure! cause you too can make a difference! Don't let the film get robbed again like it did at the Oscars alrighty people? lets make sure they win! Have a darn nice day people, you all deserve it. Thanks

Yup. Voted for both BBM catagories another 35 times. All this voting takes up a lot of time!!!

35 times for Ang Lee, 35 for MTV Best Performance and 35 times for MTV Best Kiss each day.

An off-topic question: Whom did you vote for in the rest of the categories?? I found the "Best Villain" category very interesting! I voted for Ralph Fiennes and of course, Christian Bale for the best hero!

Saw this on davecullen.com-maybe its already been on here but just in case.its time to vote on another poll from Newsweek-You vote for the Movie that should have won Best Picture,Best Actor,Best Actress. and Best Director- So far BBM is ahead -Ang Lee is ahead-and Its close between Heath and Joaquin-No actress from BBM is on the list-
