Good morning here too. :) Few pics again, few are sad.  :-\\

This one is interesting, because look at how happy Jack is -- I bet he's tickled to see these beautiful daughters that are the flesh of his love of his life -- looking back at Ennis like, you did good, bud.  But then...crash goes his happiness.  God this scene is maybe even the most tragic of all!  He hadn't yet been disappointed by Ennis enough to have gotten hardened.  He was so FULL of hope driving up there.  Only to find out that the divorce didn't mean shit.  Still wasn't going to be easy for them to have that sweet life, if ever.

kathy

Yes, this is such a painful scene to view now, because we KNOW that he will come crashing down.  This is one of the most paoinful scenes in all the movie for me.  Jack is so full of anticipation and joy.  The fall is much too great.  The twist of the knife is so strong.  The wound thereafter is so deep.

How deep?

As deep as his love for Ennis.

As deep as "forever".

Twisted, I think I love you this morning. The scene right after the divorce and Jack's Thanksgiving are two of my favorite scenes in the movie.

Why are they your favorites?  The after-the-divorce scene is so sad.  As to Jack's Thanksgiving, I find that painful to watch.  My very least favorite scenes are when Mr. and Mrs. Newsome are in them.  Like the newborn baby scene, too -- I dislike them -- ick.  Except of course I do love the Thanksgiving scene for Jack finally standing up to the old bastard!  Yeah!!  Is that why you like it?

its time for me to slip out of my melancholy guys.

I love that green.   I love the window.   I love the eyes.

A wonderful pic.  Full of light, color, and beauty.

Yes, Mr. Poet -- a very poetic photograph.  I like his arm creating the space for someone special to come in and sit there.

In most of these pics he is too young (makes me feel like a lech.)  I am definitely into the more mature Jake.

Me, too -- as I've already said.  I can tell at very first glance -- "nope, too young" or "yep, my man."

Time for me to say good night to my friends at ennisjack.   All of you, of course.  :)

There are so many gorgeous pix posted here today.  I add a small one.

However small, it is still Jake Gyllenhaal.

Take care.

P.S.  I bid on the pup tent tomorrow.  I pray for good fortune.  ;)

I'm liking that Cham!  :^^)
