Twisted, I am getting addicted to your Heath and Jake screencaps.  An addiction is a dangerous thing!

Bless you.

:) Glad to hear ;)

These are ones for tonight, then i'm going to bed. Hope you enjoy them. :)

And the last but certanly not the least. <^(

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Friends, at 2555.55 USD, I am the proud and grateful owner of the pup tent.

I am moved to be a caretaker of such a treasure.

I thank Ennis and Jack for the wonderful experience that is BBM.

It's amazing when you see siblings that get along.

OT, but I get along with my four siblings.  But anyway, they do seem a lovely family.  And interesting how she is so petite, and other things you can see that are different -- I'd like to see good pics of their parents.  As for Jake, look how one sleeve is rolled up and the opposite pants leg.

Chuckling out loud.  I read these words first then scrolled up to see who the heck had written them, and of course I should have known -- Mr. Poet.  Stunning pic, agreed.  But I don't really get the simile -- wheat on threshing floor sounds kind of violent, like it's getting all chopped up or whatever, or the wheat being separated from the chaff...and I'm over-thinking this, but I don't get it.  The being captured entire, I get...

WOW!  You are the man.  (Besides the other two The Man's.)  You mentioned this the other day, but I don't know any details, like was it on ebay or what?  Anyway, yeah for you!!!  Is the second picture yours of the tent and your horse?

kathy

What about the FNIT/SNIT/don't look right tent??  Is that up for auction?

That's awesome. I sometimes get along with two of my siblings and I don't at all with the other one. Most of my friends don't get along with their siblings either. Maybe I just hang out with dysfunctional kinds of people.

Hi kathy.  :)

Not so sound morbid, but the whole tire-iron scene has a feeling of wheat being threshed...  It is interesting that you caught on with the violence of the image.

There is the notion of struggle here.  Jack is forever trying to master himself -- riding out the bull of Love, shall we say.

I hope you don't find this overtly morbid.

Kathy, the dealer is on Ebay, and he is very laconic when I ask him questions (Jennis had a similar experience.)  When I asjked him what are the other props that he intends to put out, he sent back a 2-word reply: More later.

I had discussed with friends the possibility that he has THE tent -- the tent where Ennis and Jack made love.  THAT would be a major item, IMO, and I suspect the price for this will be pretty steep.  I would not be surprised if it goes above 10000 USD.

I am watching this dealer now.  I will keep the forum posted...

The right-hand pic is a production photo. :)

A Jake pic. Incidentally, I think he has sold some of the camping cookware already.  I will never forgive myself for not bidding on Jack's harmonica!

Oooh, huge congrats to you Thomas. I know that you will take good care of that treasure. :)

Twisted.  I am thinking of donating it.  I'll try to find a suitable home for it -- some place where other people can see it.
