There are pix that are dominated by his great blue eyes.  This is indeed one of them.

One can indeed drown in those eyes...  The eyes mark him as the Prince of Dreams...

So much to admire.  Beauty that moves...

Each pic captures a brief moment in time.  Beauty may be transient, but the Ideal is unchanging.

Colour can also move as well as highten the senses. The blues and violets (?)  highten the soft pallor of his face.

The eyes are turned.  The intensity of those eyes are thus veiled ever so slightly...

The colour of his cheeks almost matches the shirt. And his lips.

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

I don't mind him NOT having his hair...

His face is beautifully defined anyway...

Which one is better?

Hard to say.  The flesh tones add to the warmth, no?  But the B&W is much more crisp.  :)

Light blue on crimson -- certainly his beauty is highlighted by the ambient colors.  I think this is an example of a pic whose strong and wonderful color scheme makes it superior to a balck and white version.  Do you agree?
