Glad that you liked it :^^)

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

:8 If he does look like that, you should act out that song "I saw Mummy kissing Santa Claus"  ;)  <^(  If he turned up at my house, there'd be a lot of disappointed kids on Xmas morning, cause I wouldn't let him go out again to deliver presents :d)

Classic, well dressed, gorgeous, beautiful Jake..

Yeah, love this one.  Classic maybe, but with his inimitable touch of funk he does so well.  Kind of like his irregular teeth -- the unique touches that make him off the beaten track, and so unique for it.

I adore him in a thick-knit cardigan, so cuddly.  And I like his hair cut a bit short like this.

And this pic first, cos this movie started this wonderful journey <^(

And the one and only, beautiful Jake Gyllenhaal

Wonderful of you to do your 10 000 post here!  Of course, that's why you're so prolific in posts -- you keep us all supplied with our Jake fix.

The second pic -- you been holding out on us?  Fascinating one of teen Jake!

Kathy, maybe this will help?  ;) I couldn't help noticing it right from the start, but then I do love a nice hairy chest on a man,it's so...well, manly  ;D And Jake's is just perfect, not too much, not too little, just perfect, like everything else about him :d) *Sigh, swoon, drool, etc etc* ::) ;D <^(

Thank you very much, CS -- illustration needed for our chest-hair study.  I certainly see it clearly in this pic, but I'm telling you, every single time I'd see Jack lying down in the tent before Ennis comes in, it looked like he had no or little chest hair (I like either, hair or no).  I certainly saw none by his naval and going down, but you can see it in this pic.  How funny, how our eyes focus on certain things.  Just goes to show you, reality is in the eyes of the beholder...  I do agree Jake's hair is perfect, all of it everywhere -- just right...

Yes, so 'English Dandy'

Oh!  Philchel, that is great!  I hadn't yet seen Jake as an English dandy, and that is just a divine look for him.  I see it in this photo, now that you say it.  Nice!

Perfect!!

Chest hair study???!!  :8  Is that some sort of official project? If so, where do I sign up? I suppose I'll have to do some research and report back with my findings , it'll be a tough job, but someone's gotta do it ::)  ;D

Yes, it's funny that you didn't notice the chest hair in the movie, whereas I was just drawn to it  <^( Like you say, different strokes and all that ;)  I think you're going to have to force yourself to watch SNIT over and over until you can see it clearly ;) I'm going to watch it again to see if I work out how you missed it!  ::) ;D
