So cute!  I'm glad he's good pals with his brother-in-law.

Such lovely pix. :)

Wow -- I've never seen this.  His hair is one work of art, I tell ya.

Brows are lightened, too.  Fascinating look.

What a wonderful side-by-side comparison, kathy.  I love him in both, but I must admit that love the mature Jake even more.  :)

Not that this is bad:

Darling.  But, the mature Jake for me, no question about it.  Ah, so much wiser in the ways that matter, and the sum of all that experience just oozes out of every pore...

Number one, right -- I'm glad Jake wasn't in LA, so I didn't miss potentially seeing him.

And yes, I LOVE this pic from Zodiac.  Very Graysmith.  Just perfect.  Jake is so good, jeez.

kathy

:)

This is also a great Jake scene:

Oh!  I've got the vapors.

I think angels dreamed up Jake.  We can blame them for our exquisite torture.

kathy

I think even the Angels dream ABOUT Jake.

Obviously put eye makeup on him to show the tireless obsession...and he looks gorgeous with eye makeup.  Not that he even needs it.

kathy

They could cake him in dung, and he would still be food for gods.

This was such a wondeful scene!

Is it just me?  I clearly see in this, and I've seen it in some other pix, amusement in his eyes, in a perhaps serious moment.  And usually he has his hand in front of his mouth, too -- suppressing that irrepressible grin.

kathy

I'm not sure if I see amusement in that pic.  But he does have a rare sense of humor.  :)

Gorgeous, gorgeous.  B/W accentuates his features and his beauty.  I like this amount of facial hair.  I know some like less, but this is sexy, to me.

As for Jake as Jack...I'm wondering if at this stage he was still strongly carrying Jack with him.  Actually, he probably still is.

kathy

Yes.  I think I saw traces of Jack and even bits of Homer Hickam in Jake's Graysmith...

This happens to be the first Jake pic I ever posted on this thread...

I can draw, from photographs.  Not life-drawing well at all, though.  God, can you imagine an life-drawing class with Jake as the model??

But, I can't tear myself away from just looking at all these pix to ever do any drawing (and it's very time-consuming for me), nor could I pick just one pic, either.

kathy

I don't think I can draw something that can do him justice...
