Yeah BBM!!!!!
He pressed his face into the fabric and breathed in slowly through his mouth and nose, hoping for the faintest smoke and mountain sage and salty sweet stink of Jack but there was not real scent, only the memory of it, the imagined power of Brokeback Mountain of which nothing was left but what he held in his hands....

The technical nominations were not announced so it may have more nominations for editing, musical score, costumes etc.   BBM may yet come out on top in total nominations.

My predictions[/b:
Best Picture
Best Director
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Supporting Actor (possibly)
Best Adapted Screenplay
Best Cinematography
Best Original Score

I was very close, except I had actress instead of supporting actress.

This has been a lovely day for all of us here. There cannot be a better news. I'am so happy - going to treat myself with a chocolate. Still I'am bit sad since none of my colleagues next to me seems talking about this lovely movie. Anyway.....they are missing a masterpiece here.

I luv'ed it. Thats what matters to me.

I was actually holding my breath until Michelle Williams was the last one nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category.

Unfortunately, I don't think the movie will win any of the acting awards.  The trend from the other awards has been clear.  Although "official" recognition would be nice, BBM has already won every major Kindred Award  ;)  The movie will always remain dear to my heart and at least for me, that's all that really matters.

Yes, I am hoping...

You see, I am hard-of-hearing and visually impaired so I am not able to get around without some problems... I was able to see BBM once[/n] while I was in Toronto... but I don't think I can wait for the DVD before I implode!!

This board has been my lifeline.

Now with 8 nominations, hope your colleagues will talk about it. Does your office do some kind of Oscar ballot games.
