FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

If there is any consolation for us here, it is that we know he is now an Immortal in the world of Art and Cinema.

He shall be remembered, long after so many other Oscar nominees and winners have been hopelessly, so hopelessly, forgotten.

May he rest in peace... We will forever remember him

OMG I just can't believe it! I'm in a state of shock!  :\'(
He was my age, so young... This so unfair!

But I know he will always be in our hearts. He will be a legend.

This is not much but here is my tribute to him, the best way I can express it:

This is so terrible, I can't believe, I just can't. I wish I could cry, if that would make me feel better, but I can't even do that...Now it just hurts so much...

The news still hasn't completely sunk in... it seems unreal that he's gone.  Life can be so fleeting  :\'(

Aren't we at the stage these days when it just doesn't ... matter? It's a story of love and it's a story between two people. If people can't get over that and just accept it as a story, then that's their problem. I'm big enough and brave enough to do it. - Heath Ledger on doing BBM

I'm the same, I want to scream and bawl my eyes out, but I'm all fuzzy headed and out of kilter at this. I want this to be untrue but know it's not. I think I'll die when I hear what Ang has to say. Such a beautiful soul.

Seb, the tribute is beautiful my friend and I thank you for it from my heart.  :ghug:

I just can't believe this. I just came home and read the BBC news site.

I am in tears. I feel so sad that such a young, talented actor with so much ahead of him would apparently take his own life.

It's just too tragic for words...
Large was his bounty, and his soul sincere,
Heaven did a recompense as largely send:
He gave to Misery (all he had) a tear,
He gained from Heaven ('twas all he wished) a friend.

A brief candle; both ends burning
An endless mile; a bus wheel turning

A friend to share the lonesome times
A handshake and a sip of wine

So say it loud and let it ring
We are all a part of everything
The future, present and the past
Fly on proud bird
You're free at last.

Hi,

I've only posted in the Oxford thread yet so propably most of won't know only from LJ where I post my fanfiction. But I hope it's ok to be here...

Anyway I'm sitting here at home and can't stop crying. I saw the news on the German TV about one hour ago and since then I'm in a state of shock.

I feel as if BBM came forcefully back to me - but now the other way round.

This is so unbelievable sad - I'm so devastated because I really can't understand one thing: didn't anybody in his near surrounding see how bad he must have felt?
In the German news they are talking about suicide...

Didn't anybody see it?

Goddam - this is such a tragedy... I'm beyond words...

And I feel so utterly, utterly sorry for his daughter. Jesus - what a nightmare....

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a Candle in the Wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rains set in...
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

God Bless Ya Heath, Go in Peace.

Sadly, I'm reminded of the last scene as he stares out of the window across the windswept field, lonely, distant, and not knowing where to go...

We can just be thankful. I do not know how else to endure such loss. We will just have to "stand it" and remember.
We can't change it. We will have to stand it.

I was in the office, half listening to the radio, when they mention some actor died, and than they mentioned his name.  I was stunned, I couldn't move.  But  God you guys don't know how I wanted to get out of there, and come home to you.

Heath's death hit me like when Lennon died.  I still can't express all I feel about the lost of this young beautiful actor, and his promise  and potential of being one of the greats.  All I can do is say a prayer for him.

I can't say any more than that.

Except I love all of you.

Hello all.  :ghug:

Michelle is right. I'm still in shock, as are most of you. :-\\

I'm so glad we can come together here to share our  :ghug: and our heartfelt wishes for Heath to be at peace and for his family to get through this. :\'(  :\'(

Thomas, I agree that a tribute of some sort would be appropriate.

I wish I could say something to help us heal. The Charlie Daniels poem was beautiful. :\'(  <^(

I can't stop crying, I can't. This is the worst nightmare, I'm totally devastated. How am I going to be able to watch the movie again? :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'(

This is too horrible for words, it can't be happening. He was so young, so beautiful, so talented. He has a loving family, a little girl. I was looking forward to seeing him in more films, he was going to win the Oscar some day... :\'( :\'( :\'(

I'm inconsolable right now. It hurts so much I can't stand it.
The truth is... sometimes I miss you so much I can hardly stand it.

I simply can't believe it. I'm shocked, I'm crying my heart out....how could this have happened?!?!
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you,
for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just around the corner.
All is well.
