The depth of my suffering and grief over Heath Ledger's death caught me by surprise nearly as much as the news itself.  It seems that my deepest feelings are unknown to me until something happens to bring them out.  I never imagined that BBM and it's makers meant so much to me.  I can't find any consolation.  Religion and philosophy right now are cruel mockeries.  I've got nothing but blackness pouring in.  I feel irrational guilt in the situation as if I could have done something to prevent it, and I feel like condemning the whole world for letting it happen.

On top of this I'm with a flu that does not go away... so I took a sleeping pill because I haven't slept more then 3 hours since I heard the news.... It did the job, but I woke up to this tragic reality that it's indeed true..

Still I can not believe it. :\'(

I just don't know...
Things really happen fast and don't seem to have any relationship with time until after the fact, which I am finding so hard to swallow.
Ethan, thank you for being such a responsible and loyal lover of that which is infinitely beautiful. We couldn't ask for a better bearer of our hearts. God bless.

I was fighting with myself, whether or not to just not come here again.  It's like our world shifted, things are not the same, I tried to watch the BBM, and it wasn't the same, when Heath came on the my screen,  I couldn't take it, and turn it off.  I was looking forward to seeing him in the new "Batman" flick, wanting to see his take on the Joker,  and now I don't think I can  watch it without feeling anger, at the lost of such a talented actor.  

I was angry yesterday, but now not so much.  We, all of us understood  what we had and appreciated, we understand what we have and honor it, and now we won't forget him.    Heath will never be a footnote, a trivia question, he will alway be to us and to world when they look back one of the greats.

I can understand why he lived in New York, a lot of people think of the crowds, the traffic, the fast pace, but if you wanted to be left alone to live a quiet life, and just be who you are.  There no place better than here.

Like everything in life we just have to take this day to day.  We'll have bad days and good ones. I know for me, I have this place to come no matter what kind of day I'm having.

Ethan, thanks for taking the hard step of going to Broome Street to leave a tribute for Heath.  I can only imagine how hard that must have been for you. I hope you know that we were all there with you.   :ghug:

I'm still trying to come to terms with this terrible heartbreak.  Reading all the wonderful tributes and memories of Heath help in one way, but in another makes me feel even sadder, because we shouldn't be reading them in this context.   :\'( :\'( :\'(

Being here though is a wonderful place to be, knowing that everyone else is feeling what I am feeling.   :ghug:

I dropped away from this forum a while ago, (I used to be aimi15) but have always tried to keep up with the happenings. At the moment there's nowhere else I could possibly be, just reading the tributes is helping, knowing that everyone else feels such loss.

It's a terrible, terrible tragedy and I'm struggling to make sense of it all. I'm thankful he was there though, all be it for such a brief moment.
