I don't know about April or May. There was a March release date, but then all the theaters kept running it after the Oscar nominations came out. I'm a little happy, because I wanted to see it again, but upset because I want that DVD!

Yeah it's coming to the second run theater near me in a week so that's good, make more money there!  But yes i miss the DVd too.

The movie hit theatres here on Jan 26, so the dvd release won't be for at least 6 months.  Luckily for me, I'm going overseas before then and can buy the dvd on my holiday  ;D

When you say overseas, where?  Are you aware there are two zones for DVDs?  Zone 1 is for Americas, zone 2 is for the rest of the world.  You can't play in Europe a DVD bought in Amerca and vice-versa, unless you have a multi-standards player.

LOL, Amazon.com listed a BBM DVD 24pk with a release date of December 31st 2025!!!!  Can we wait that long????? Hee hee

I'm so irritated right now. I can't afford to see it at AMC anymore, and it hasn't hit the $1.50 theater yet. I don't know that it will. I'm in a sort of... well extremely conservative area. I wish I still had a job...

I just reserved a copy at my local Suncoast Video Store (for April 4). Although the list they have doesn't list a "special edition", but I told them if there is one, that's the one I want.

In the meantime I will just have to survive by watching Jarhead - which is available on Tuesday.

Thanks for the good news, mario.  :) That will be useful to the people that live in the US and Canada, I presume. In Europe we are a different dvd zone, if I'm not mistaken.
