A little warning to our friends who are not in DVD zone 1, and want to order from America to play on you laptop or desktop.  The DVD player on the computer could be disabled after 5 times you switch from a DVD zone 1 to another zone back and forth.

However, I'm quite sure there are some wizards on this board who will know how to manage with this.

You know I was realizing we can't have our tissue party on the 4th since many of us are ordering over mail, it might have to be a couple of days later.

I'm disappointed it sounds like no directors comments, I was hoping for that.  Oh well.

There used to be months between US and UK releases - at least it's only 20 days.

Plus, PAL (UK) DVDs have a sharper picture than NTSC (US) DVDs. All the better to watch those snogging scenes... ahem... I meant the magnificent scenery...  ;)

And also how much your average consommation of tissues increased after receiving the DVD.

OT maybe?

The tears will match the sweat and blood stains already on my cuffs. The cuffs and collar on this shirt are dirty to where cleaning it won't help, but I keep wearing it, because it reminds me of Ennis's shirt. You know, the shirt. Plus, it's comfy ;)

There was some open space between what he knew and what he tried to believe, but nothing could be done about it, and if you can't fix it you've got to stand it.

Ennis, riding against the wind back to the sheep in the treacherous, drunken darken light, thought he'd never had such a good time, felt he could paw the white out of the moon.

Brokeback Mountain DVD Specs and Cover Artwork- Menus Included!!
Movie Brokeback Mountain Posted By: Jason / Source

Universal Studios Home Entertainment is proud to announce that it will be releasing the powerful, affecting and one of the most talked about movies of the year - "Brokeback Mountain", which stars Academy Award Nominees Heath Ledger ("The Patriot", "The Lords of Dogtown"), Jake Gyllenhaal ("Jarhead", "Donnie Darko"), Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actress Michelle Williams ("The Station Agent", "Prozac Nation") and Anne Hathaway ("Princess Diaries", Ella Enchanted") onto DVD. The disc will be available in both 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen and 1.33:1 Fullscreen editions, along with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and English SDH audio tracks. Subtitles are also available.

Based on the short story by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annie Proulx BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN is a sweeping epic that explores the lives of two young men, ranch-hand Ennis del Mar (Heath Ledger) and rodeo cowboy Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal), who meet in the Summer of 1963 and unexpectedly forge a lifelong connection. The complications, joys and heartbreak they experience provide a testament to the enduraance and power of love. Ledger and Gyllenhaal deliver emotionally charged, remarkably moving performances in "a movie that is destined to become one of the great classics of our time" (Clay Smith "The Insider").

BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN has won three Academy Awards including Ang Lee ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon") for Best Director, Larry McMurtry ("Lonesome Dove", "Terms of Endearment") and Diana Ossana("Johnson Country War") for Best Adapted Screenplay and Gustavo Santaolalla ("Collateral", "21 Grams") for Best Original Score.

They mention:

"Directing From the Heart: Ang Lee"

Maybe it's this?  We are not getting nervous, not at all to put our hands on that DVD.

Nah, I don't think so.  Directors comments are comments that run through the entire movie.  That you can turn on and off.
Directing from the heart sounds like an interview or a statement he will make.
