I found these :)

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

That must be another deleted scene....
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

Yes, it must be one of the production shoots that were not used.  I do wonder how many takes they did for the reunion scenes.  God, we need better DVD bonus features right away...

OMG...I WANT ONE NOW!!

I'm abit OOT here, but the Taiwanese version of the DVD looks princely compared to the others.  The French version will be better than the others, I've heard.  Sorry for being OOT.  But I couldn't agree more...

There is so much quiet beauty in this pic.  You know he is bracing himself for Ennis's reply.  You can SEE his earnestness underneath the placid surface.

I want to lassoe your heart..

One can read so many meanings into this single scene.  I hope everyone remembers the thread where this is interpreted in terms of bondage.  :)

It was a pity that Ennis was not in the mood to play such games.  But at least Jack got the shirts out of this...

The blur made by Ennis's hand in the first of the above pix is quite fascinating.  For a moment there, I thought Jack didn't have his shirt on.  And the trickle of blood on Ennis's nose...

There was some open space between what he knew and what he tried to believe, but nothing could be done about it, and if you can't fix it you've got to stand it.
