OMG!!!   especially the second one.. :t) <^(

Me, too -- I have not studied this leaving-early fight scene enough, and I love looking at the stills.  I love this so much, the horseplay turned into a frustrated-emotions fight.  Especially I love Jack, right away moving in to comfort Ennis.  I love, love, love what a comforter Jack is (in the hurt/comfort genre sense).  I love how he says, Ennis...Ennis...here.  Then gets a big ol' punch.  Then I love how the force of the punch almost knocks Ennis himself off his feet, and he braces himself on Jack's back to stand back up and stagger away...but this is a Jake's pix thread and I know I've talked about this scene elsewhere anyway.  So, thanks for Jake pix!!  I am as amazed and awed at Jake's "inhabiting" the Jack character as is always said about Heath and Ennis.

*sigh* <^( <^( So beautiful.
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

I am looking at a B&W pic of Stephen G as I type -- the one at the back of his book of poems.   I see a lot of Jake in the pic.

Sorry if a bit OOT.

I think it was the pic when Jack was in the hospital. I'm not sure though.

He knows he has been found out.  It is so powerful, the way he projects the fear and embarassment in his face.  This single frame says it all.

but he's not scared, and Aguirre treats him quite "good" if that's the right word to describe it. I mean that he's not shooting Jack or anything.. Little OT, sorry. :-[

I love the Jack pics but can we please just discuss and look at Jake here? not turn this thread into a discussion of whatever scene has been capped?
