The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Did i mentioned that i love his hands ::) <^(

I'm glad you said that, coz, I do too! I always look at them in his pics, someone said in another post that he may be double jointed, and sometimes his thumb can look as though he is...another strange resting point for my eyes is his neck :i , and he has quite prominent veins in his upper arms that are eye-catching too...(Now.. that comment is worth two of these Rosie.. :i :i and maybe a trip to the hospital...  ;D)

Call the ambulance for both of us.

Yes, sometimes I can almost see that double-jointedness in his hands.  I also look at his neck -- I especially like that little hollow above the sternocleidomastoid (?) -- you know the one I mean.  And oh!  Goes without saying, the veins in his arms...

There's our Handsome Jake again :-*

God, this man in proper suits...  Can you imagine going into your banker's office and finding someone like him??

Though I love him in mod-funk jeans and jackets and all that, too.

kathy

Kathy,
I'd end up with a million pound mortgage, which obviously I wouldn't be able to keep up the repayments on, so I'd have to be called into his office on a weekly basis...just to check my progress you understand... ;)

Love this one so much.  Thoughtful...  (And "mature.")  And my favorite brown-tones.
