I watched this scene a few times again yesterday, it really is my favourite one (with SNIT and reunion). There's so much understanding in their views and such a special moment, because of Ennis being so accomomodating (or complaisant? I don't know what's the correct translation for the word I mean) to Jack and allowing him a sight to his feelings.

I love these put side-by-side, so I'll do it again.  I also just adore this scene -- Jack is so falling in love (as opposed to just hot for the guy) and Ennis is finding someone who wants to listen to him...  So sweet it makes me ache.

If the expression on Jack's face says he's dreaming  in a dozy embrace,he does'nt wanna  ever wake up....and Ennis? He knows he's found someone very special like never before. They adore each other.
These last pics are also wonderful. I love this scene, Jack realizes that Ennis is opening up to him and that he knows HE alone is responsible for it. I agree ,He is SO falling in love with Ennis. And the way Ennis says it's more words than he's spoken "in a year" speaks volumes  and confirms it.. Sweet!  I luv it!.

At no moment did  Jack avert his eyes, or closed them, or look away.  Its this scene out of all them that touches me the most.  Jack eyes said it all.   He loves this man.
