Good evening fair Italians :)

just a reminder

There was a veritable waterfall of screencaps posted a few pages ago. Pix can be posted elsewere on this site, and therefore less is sometimes better.

Also, some people use dial up and pages can take ages to load up with pix, so please , unless on a pix thread, try to avoid it.

Ahia (come direbbe Frances).

Potrebbero esserci soluzioni intermedie.

OK people, this I will say in English because I am way too tired to express myself in Italian tonight.

Yes this is an Italian chitchat thread, yes i understand that some members express themselves using photos...bladibladibla

The main issue is not that we want to stop people from posting pix, but that there are threads created for that purpose only, and yes once again, as Malawix says , those threads are not a place to chitchat.

If Esme posted here, it was because she asked me and we agreed on a simple message. Nowhere on this message do we say that members have to stop posting pix on this thread, but only try and avoid it.

" just a reminder

There was a veritable waterfall of screencaps posted a few pages ago. Pix can be posted elsewere on this site, and therefore less is sometimes better.

Also, some people use dial up and pages can take ages to load up with pix, so please , unless on a pix thread, try to avoid it."

One or 2 pix once in a while won't hurt anyone, but you have to keep in mind that not everyone uses broadband.
With dial up, it can take ages for a page to load up. Some members usually avoid the threads were pix are posted, and when they go to another thread and see that there are too many pix posted, they then complain to us moderators.

So you see there are no "via di mezzo" not really...and maybe "la liberté s'arrête là ou commence celle des autres"...
If you feel offended or unhappy about a message a Global moderator or administrator posts, please pm that member and ask why such a message was posted in the first place.

OK...once again too tired..but this book is fantastic and no not sold in italy..

It has the shortstory (the original by Annie Proulx..that you might have read in Italian) and then it has the screenplay...

All the dialogs from the movie, and the extra 3/4 scenes that were filmed, but edited out of the movie...a must buy for any bbm fan!!

You're quite welcome.

So let's try to explain that this is not at all an absolute forbidding, but a suggestion to moderate the use of pictures.
I think that avoiding quoting posts without removing pictures of the original post quoted is already a big step ahed
and then a little moderation in overall number could be good enough

Not need to explain...it was written in black and white....

try to avoit it!

No one forbade you (you in the general sense here) to post pic, but to post less of them!

And yes, removing picture link is already quite a step indeed!!

Ahia (come direbbe Frances).

Grazie Cortomaltese.

Hi Froggy, I think that we all have understand this problem quiet well, and we are all agree with this reminder, at least me! We have only triyed to think for a possible solutions that can be the best for all!!! But the one you have suggest (One or 2 pix once in a while won't hurt anyone) it seems the best for me! Thanks and sorry for the inconvenient  ^f^

Ahia

Capisco tutto.

I think that if we post the links to the photos instead of the photos, could be a good solution...
