I didn't even bother watching it on Bravo.  I knew they would cut it up, even though it's cable.  I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it.  A film like BBM, should be watch in it's whole and no commerical interrupts.  JMO.

Yes, seeing it with all the commercial interrupts did feel odd and out of place.

So you watched it on Bravo, Thomas?  I just didn't want to.  Saving myself :)

I did'nt bother watching either,  to cut out such a pivotal part of the film (SNIT) is a sin.  nah, I'll watch the DVD instead.

Yes Kathy and AF, I saw the two showings on Friday night back to back.  I was glad I did, because they showed never-before-seen footage in the FNIT, even as they censored many of the parts.  You may be interested in the discussions of the scenes here, where I posted 2 screenshots of the said new scene.

They certainly censored a number of the scenes.  But in the part where Jack unbuckles his belt in the FNIT, they showed never-before-seen footage.

Ennis Del Mar: I'm gonna tell you this one time, Jack fu**in' Twist, an' I ain't foolin'. What I don't know - all them things I don't know - could get you killed if I come to know them. I ain't jokin'.
Jack Twist: Yeah well try this one, and I'll say it just once!
Ennis Del Mar: Go ahead!
Jack Twist: Tell you what, we coulda had a good life together, fu**in' real good life! Had us a place of our own. But you didn't want it, Ennis! So what we got now is Brokeback Mountain! Everything's built on that, that's all we got boy, fu**in' all. So I hope you know that if you don't never know the rest! You count the damn few times we have been together in nearly twenty years and you measure the short !@#$ leash you keep me on, and then you ask me about Mexico and tell me you'll kill me for needing somethin' I don't hardly never get. You have no idea how bad it gets! I'm not you... I can't make it on a coupla high-altitude fucks once or twice a year! You are too much for me Ennis, son of a whoreson bitch... I wish I knew how to quit you.
Ennis Del Mar: Well why don't you? Why don't you just let me be, huh? Because of you, Jack, that I'm like this. I'm nothing... and nowhere.

I liked it so much when Ennis eyes was full of water.. ahhh it was so cute and then Jack hugged him  :D

That is my favorite moment too. The way Jack then walks over to hug him, and Ennis tries to fight it and deny like in the beginning of the movie, but then gives in. It's an extremly touching scene. In a sad way, it's at that point, where the two of them realize, that they have lost. That's where they realize, that they might keep seeing each other, but things will never be the same, they'll never really be together. So it's also, I think, the saddest part in the movie.

Also, I got two other favorite moments:

1. Gotta say the first time in the tent. How Ennis tries to fight it, but then realizes, that he wants it to happen too.

2. The moment after the reunion by the lake. The "It could be like this, just like this, always" part.

And then I love the flashback, where "Jack is sleeping standing up like a horse" and the way Ennis kind of hugs him from behind. And the way Jack looks after him, when he rides off - Maybe Jack realized it already, but here it's for sure, that he is in love with Ennis. You can tell, that he is really fascinated by him.

But the short story is, I love all the scenes, Ennis and Jack are in :)

OOhhhhh interesting id love to see those never seen before bits! Thanks for posting the pics though :) Wow..! :) (cannot believe they censored some parts of the film tho! ??? ) I saw BBM last on UK tv C4 (no censored bits! but no new footage either! :-\\ )and they had breaks and it isnt the same at all so i agree with everyone saying it gets in the way of the film.
My fav scene of the film is probably the SNIT scene as its so emotional and i love how no words are said but so much is said through emotions and body language and you can just tell what they are feeling and thinking its beautiful! :) <^( <^(

i decided to check out if anyone on Youtube has that special footage but cant find it but found this....

is this quick deleted footage seems so?! :s) :)

OMG!!! Thank you so so so much!!!  ^f^ I've been looking for this scene for months!!!!

Why did they cut it ou? It's so powerful, really heartbreaking and sad, but Heath is utterly amazing there. I have no words....

Very good choices.  Reading your first choice, I cannot help but smile.  It is so true that he was fighting himself at that moment.

I am surprised that Bravo edited FNIT and SNIT.  I've seen shots from other movies with total nudity.  Also, I don't think HBO edited it any.

The SNIT, the DE, and this underappreciated moment:

This quick little scene is so important to the movie. It gives confirmation that they are still a couple in love, plus they look so sexy all snuggled up under that sleeping bag.

It shows after twenty years, that they still had love for each other.

OMG, I love that scene (I know AF loves it too). It shows how they still love each other so much, how they are not always bitching and fighting, how they are more than just old friends (like they looked sitting in those chairs, only fishing buddies).

I wish this scene had been longer...I love Ennis here..We see he loved being with Jack because he loved Jack. **sigh**  <^( <^( <^( And Jack looks so adorable. I just can only imagine what they did before this moment and my heart melts.  <^( <^( <^(

Oh yes, I love this so much.  (And this is a nice version of it, the colors, etc.)  We really needed to see this, the confirmation, as you said, that they are a love-and-sex couple still.  Not just old friends.  I know I've said it a zillion times, but I feel the lack of any obvious sign (except this) of their love in the later scenes.  I wanted a kiss so bad, during one of the later scenes.

The scene where Ennis walks out from behind his truck when they are packing up to leave that morning and he's wiping his mouth on his sleeve gave me the impression that he had just kissed Jack. Jack follows right behind him. Reminds me of him doing the same thing when they went up to see Alma after reunion kiss. I know he was dreading what he had to tell Jack in just those few moments later.. maybe thinking a kiss would help soften it? Ennis could be so sweet in his own way.

Excellent observation!  I had never noticed this.  I know just what you mean, about the way Ennis wipes his mouth up in the kitchen with Jack and Alma.

Okay then, this makes me feel better.  I mean, we know they still had a probably very hot sex life, but it's nice to see a little clue, since we didn't see anything overt.  This is particularly wonderful, because of the sad stuff that follows.

Indeed.  I have not considered this possibility.  It is quite plausible, and it seems to explain why Ennis was so absent-minded all throughout this scene with Alma.  "He's from Texas" -- Hah!   His mind was clearly not focused on what Alma was saying at that moment...

there r so many scenes which r my favourite.
- the Scene when they meet 4 years later and all the supressed feelings come gushing back like a volcano..
- The Scene when Jack touches Ennis face after meeting after 4 years on  the Mountain in the Night
- The Scene in which Jack smiles at Ennis after Ennis tells him about his past...and Jack tells him that thats   the more words than what he spoke in 2 weeks.
- The Scene in which Jack tells Ennis that sometimes he misses him so much that he can hardly stand it

I CAN GO ON AND ON :)..SO ILL STOP HERE :)

P.S the last scene of the film makes me skip a heart beat

When I watched Ennis facial expression in that scene I felt that he too wanted to say something in return but kept quite as it would get too difficult to handle..so he supressed it...or probably was out of words..his actions meant alot though throughout the film

Yes, I also felt that he was suppressing something at that moment.  It is very sad and poigniant.

Others have noted that the next scene (showing them asleep together) is a kind of response to Jack's declaration...

I agree...u know if u go to see every scene of them together is some expression of emotions of both of them..it really doesnt matter what they spoke because gestures speak volumes....

every scene has a message and is a part of their journey...
every scene is so beautifully shot and interconnected to the other...
well now I am short of words which happens very rarely with me.. :)

In many more ways, BBM is more about gestures/actions rather than words (or the lack of it -- actions or words -- thereof.)

ya, u know everybody expresses so well as to what they feel about brokeback Mountain ..I really am impressed with all the Brokies...but there is a major part of what we Brokies feel which we beautifully feel ourselves about Ennis and Jack ..those feelings r beyond words...

I think that even the scenes of the film which have impacted people the most dont have dialogues or words but just facial expression , gestures and body movements..am I right?

OMG!  Now I'll have to check out that "last together scene" to see when Ennis wipes his mouth!  That Ang didn't miss a beat, eh?  Just like when he is totally out of breath and wipes his mouth before introducing Jack to Alma. &**)
