It's hard to believe 9 months had passed already...   :\'(      To everyone who need it  :ghug:

I only wanted you
They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

God....

Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

Yes, 'tis sad indeed, Alicia.  :\'(  It always made me so sad even before associating it with Heath...  So now it's even sadder to me.

Just did a couple of my own (even if it probably is unwise to post them right next to Hugo's...)

 Lunar Elegy

The Moon has brought it round again
For a ninth and sorrowed time
And I would that my words could give you
The bouquet in my mind.

Claire de Lune

Claire de Lune
Oh light of the moon
Your beauty is sallow
This night
Where teardrop shapes
Abound
And crescent shapes
Mark
A date so wintry blue

Your poetry is beautiful, Laura!  It speaks to me.  Speaks of Heath to me.  Speaks of our love for Heath...

Last night I dreamed of Michelle and Matilda.  It was warm and sweet.  I had a sad lump in my throat in the dream, talking to Michelle, but as soon as Matilda came into the room, there was so much beautiful light in her little being, we could not help but be happy.

I love seeing these photos of him directing the video. God he had so much in him, so much talent, so much to give.

ELLEN DEGENERES: "He was good at anything he did. He and Michelle came over to the house once, and they were really late because he was directing a Ben Harper video. He was coming straight from that and he was telling us about it and how much he loved it. And then we played poker and he proceeded to take all of our money."

MICHELLE WILLIAMS: "He was good at sports. He was good at directing. He was good at painting. He was good at taking pictures. He was good at building things. It could be infuriating to a lot of his friends--I mean, he had a talent for everything that he put his mind to, pretty much, so he didn't know limits. Maybe he had never been told that he couldn't do something, so everything was possible for him."

The truth is... sometimes I miss you so much I can hardly stand it.

TODD HAYNES: He shared with me some rock videos that he'd made. They are so extraordinary. He was so gifted beyond what we'd already seen. The last one I saw that he made was to a Nick Drake song. He did it in one day in London. He went out and shot it in black and white--it's the only video that he himself appears in. It is just a stunning piece of work. He had an instinct.

SEAN PENN: Heath was not simply a quiet and gifted actor who liked to go surfing, though that is how I primarily knew him in life. In the time we spent together, we spoke a bit about family, about travels, but most of all, about film. Yet, in his unassuming way, he never revealed to me the visual poet of the first order who I discovered watching the film clips he directed, music videos and such, after his death. His talent does speak volumes of the kind man, the loving father, and, in fact, the brilliant and gifted guy I really missed out on--that we all did in the long run. Heath might have been a giant.

Here's a link with lots of quotes from Heath's friends. They say such beautiful things about him, there are 5 pages of quotes there... I didn't read all of them. I tried, but I stopped in the middle because it was too hard. The loss is so hard to bear as it is, and the more I read about how amazing and special he was, the more it hurt because all I could think was God, how can it be? How could that happen to such an extraordinary person?? I thought I couldn't love him any more than I already do but  it's like the more I learn about him, the more I love him... or maybe it's just getting the confirmation to what I already know, that he was one of a kind, so brilliant and gifted and sensitive and loving. So I just couldn't read it anymore because the more I read the more devastated I felt. But if anybody wants to take a look, here's the link.

MICHELLE WILLIAMS: He had uncontrollable energy. He buzzed. He would jump out of bed. For as long as I'd known him, he'd had bouts with insomnia. He just had too much energy. His mind was turning, turning, turning--always turning.

MICHELLE WILLIAMS: I think that the interesting thing about Heath, which maybe people have only really fully discovered in his death, is how vulnerable he was. You can pick up on it in his performances, but it's easy to overlook because he was so physical and beautiful and strong and masculine. But there was always that underlying sensitivity. That's who he was.

michelle: I think that music became more important to him because he could do something creative without it costing him his privacy. He could be more in the background. He could be in charge, but invisible

NAOMI WATTS: I think he wanted to be someone who was doing the observing--not the one being observed. He hated not being able to go about his life in an ordinary way. But I think that, deep down, he enjoyed that he was being recognized for his talent. I think he was starting to own that and that's the deepest tragedy, in terms of his work. He was just beginning to own it and embrace it.

SARA CLINE: He really did an amazing job of curating this very special collection of friends. He was very open with his inner circle and very private outside of that.

STEVE ALEXANDER: The people who knew him really got to know him, and then the rest got to know just what he allowed.

NAOMI WATTS: He had so many great friendships. He had all his Australian friends who he took everywhere with him. He had a real community.

AMY PASCAL: He was always introducing you to 3,000 mates whose names you can't remember.

NAOMI WATTS: I'd never known someone so connected to their family. I became good friends with his parents and stayed in touch with them after we split. They did such an excellent job of raising this wonderful person. His parents divorced a long time ago, but each of them had new partners, and every premiere, every award ceremony, they would all come over. His sister, too. There was a real sense of wanting to share it.

PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN: Heath didn't have the cynicism that this business can eventually put upon people, or the pretention that certain artists can carry with them sometimes. He had a really honest quality about him. He obviously had never lost his wide-eyed optimism.

NAOMI WATTS: His acting was so touching, so connected in truth. I think he was just getting started.
