I was totally stunned when I picked up the paper this morning. My journey to work passed in a blur of numbness.

His poor family, and his little girl. My heart goes out to them.

 :ghug: to you all.

That is targedy. I just read it. Poor Heath, he must have been really unhappy. He looked so desperate lately.

I love you, heath, you are so beautiful, i will always love you.

To me, the most devastating thought is that, in one way or another, he probably did kill himself. Most probably by not taking good enough care of himself (lack of sleep, pneumonia, and maybe not seeking help, either psychological or physical). I am not saying he did it on purpose. It just reminds me of Ennis, the man who could not listen to his deepest feelings. Does anybody understand what I mean?

I mean no disrespect. I once was in that situation myself for a few months, where for sheer misery and the lack of sleep that caused (which induces a kind of stupor even when you are awake) I sometimes either wished I was dead or just didn't feel anything much and could not care about what was happening to me. Add pneumonia on top of that and those weird sleeping pills he seems to have taken, which make people do crazy things in their sleep (why are they even being sold if that is the case?).

Love to you all,

monicita

I'm stop thinking about it....

And also I'm thinking so much about Jake and Michelle.....They must be just shattered right now....I know that.... :\'(  :\'(  :\'(

Yes,the first persons I thought about were, his family apart, Michelle, the baby and Jake.I think she's having an awful time because,no matter what happenned between then,he was her daughter's father, and that's forever. And Jake was a good friend of his and godfather of Matilda,so he must be devastated.Poor Heath¡I can't still believe it...
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

Dear Heath,

May your soul rest in heaven. I consider it a privilege and pleasure to have come to know your work and you. You brought joy and hope to tens of thousands. Perhaps this is all part of the plan, not that I like it but one I will have to accept. Thank you again.

Monicita, I understand what you were trying to say. That's what so eerie about the film was how I could see aspects of each of the actors in the characters they portrayed. It was like they left part of themselves on the screen.

Thank you, Romeo and Asali!

Asali, that was a long time ago and it turned out all right in the end. I just want to tell all those who are so heartbroken about his death now that the most important thing is to go on caring about yourself! I mean this literally: be careful in the streets (I almost got run over several times, when I was in the state I described above), eat something (even when you are not hungry), try to get some sleeps (careful with the sleeping pills though).

Tell people about your sorrow and share with other brokies

I know you're right Mona but I just can't seem to do that. I haven't slept all night, I can't eat a thing and right now I don't care if I get dehydrated from crying so much. All I can think about is that Heath is gone and I don't care much about myself right now. :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'(

I woke up hoping it was a bad dream. then I heard Heath's dad confirming his death and it was then I knew it was true.  But I dont want to believe it.  Heath was such a beautiful, talented person, how could this have happened?  My stomach is in knots, I want to cry so badly but I'm in work. Wish I could go home but I cant....why did this have to happen to someone so young and so beautiful. It isnt right.   :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'(

Keren, dear,it´s terrible what has happenned, but your life must go on.It´ll be difficult for all of us,but we must do it when the first shock has diminished. Please, promise me you´ll take care of yourself, keep calm and take a rest...For your family and in Heath´s memory. We debt it to him. :^^)

Friends

We have each other, and from anger at what happen to the incredible sadness it's all valid, but we still have each other.  Those who might said unkind things, post unkind things, well guys, their creeps everywhere, but don't waste time, emotions on "people" like that.

I remember when I was young, and John Lennon died, I was devastated, I was at the "Dakota" I laid flowers, I mean I cried for weeks, I went with the pain, and it eased, and life went on.

We have each other, and as long as we share our pain, we can be angry, sad, cry, hurt, whatever you feel express it,  let it out, we all can get through this, and do it together.

I love you guys.

:\'( OMG i woke up this morning to the radio telling me the bad news i was gobsmacked  (t):\'( my boy/f sed he could feel my heart racing more and tears were in my eyes ..of all the people in the world NOOO Brokeback mountain has been making me smile  :) so much recently and helping me feel happier thru the difficult times...now when i think of brokeback its tinged with sadness :-\\ i have only posted one other message on this board as i had just found you all and said hi. When he died i was painting my picture of Jack and Ennis and thats so upsetting. I will finish that pic and dedicate it to him and ill post it on here when i finally finish it.
I think we all need to take comfort in the happiness hes given us all and how he has all touched our lives  and we will never forget him thru the amazing brokeback mountain. I wish we could all be together now as i feel so alone and no one understands why i feel so upset. It is, like some have already said, like losing a family member. Thoughts with his family and friends. Love to all the Brokies on here. :ghug:

I was crying so wildly that my boss just sent me to home.....

I have a horrible headache 'cause of so much cry....My eyes are swollen...I don't know what to do....

I read on the newspaper that Heath was so depressed 'cause he still loved Michelle and 'cause he was not happy with his work lately 'cause he thought that he was doing the same all the time with his new characters. He also had health problems.... :\'(  :\'(
That's so sad.....

But at the same time I'm so angry 'cause I read too that Heath was seen in NY lately so dirty and messed and smelling so bad and that he had a lot of problems with journalists.

I've read some beautiful things too, like he became a legend thanks to BBM and his acting in BBM was beyond perfect, more powerful than the best Marlon Brandon.

And Ali, I've seen what you posted....that's terrible, disgusting, something sooooooo cruel. How people can be so inhuman? Now my heart is not only broken by sadness but also by anger.
