I got both Wide Screen and Full Screen copy of DVD plus two free copies of Brokeback Mountain Story to ScreenPlay. Finished reading the screen play right away. God, I am all in tears again. Why life has to so hard?

It was my turn... During lunch break, I went to Target and got the WS version with the free audio CD included inside the DVD (not a separate item), then went over to Best Buy and got the FS version with the free book. This guy ahead of me had the DVD in his hand also, and I noticed he didn't pick up the free book so I enlightened him on it ;) When he asked the cashier they brought a whole pile of those books for the cashiers. I noticed that Best Buy was really promoting the DVD as it is on the shelf right when you enter, whereas, at Target, it was way back by the Electronics section. The cashier at Best Buy was a bit intrigued by the DVD (I think she noticed that it was flying off the shelves). She asked me what the book was about and whether it was based on true life. LOL. She must live in a bubble to not even be aware of the movie...  ;D ;D

followed by
WAS 19.94 YOU SAVED 4.95

But I don't have a Wal-Mart discount card or anything like that, so I don't
know why it was marked down on the very first day.

Ordered 2 copies a long time ago....through Amazon.....1 widescreen and 1 full screen.....I did the long shipping....I could wait..no problem....

Couldn't wait any longer....went and bought it today ...even stupid enough to go to the closest store (expensive Blockbuster!!)...

Now have to find time to be home alone without kids and hubby....

at least I can look at the nice back picture for now

I'm Gtattoome and I got the DVD at 12:01 on Tuesday (Monday night) at Zia Records!  Widescreen with no silver border!!! I love this movie and all of you that love it too!!!  ;D

just got mine--one week later!  only 2 hours ago.  Whew!  Finally.  :)  The box was completely battered and torn up; wonder if it got lost (our mail service here, in NY's second largest city, is terrible for some reason).  But I console myself with the thought that the box's exterior concealed one of the greatest love stories ever told--and probably reflects the battering that those two take in the course of it as well.

peace--I declare tomorrow "Bring My DVD to Work Day"!!  My office mate is out of town--woo hoo!

I got mine (widescreen) on the 5th, just behind in posting.  Only been able to watch it all the way through once, but I do watch certain scenes over and over...and over and over...
