But not happy that it has Chinese subtitle only, I want Eng subtitle too!!!!

Just curious, it seems to me that some of the scenes are not found in the DVD while I remembered more when I watched in the theatre. Is yours also in 134 mins???

What scenes do you feel are missing vankwok?  Perhaps we can help you.  And, yes, the U.S. movie was 134 minutes long.

According to my memory, there are 2 major missings. But I am not really sure as my memory is not very reliable, haha~

1) Their "after" scene in the motel (the 1st re-union after BBM summer). Jack is hugging Ennis from his back, and tells Ennis that he is thinking about aving sex with Ennis while he is on his way to Ennis' house. I remember Ennis confesses that he was also thinking about Ennis when he jerked off. I am not sure it is the Chinese subtitle mistake or not. But I had that conversation in my mind while the DVD doesn't have.

2) The sex in the tent scene, I remember Jack also "penetrate" Ennis. It seems to me that the sex scene in the DVD is shortened...

Be honest, I am not 100% sure, maybe I made up some pictures unconsciously???

vankwok, your English is wonderful!  No, do not compare the short story with the movie (DVD or theater).  They differ in many places.  Some scenes in the story are not even in the movie.  Some scenes are in the movie but not in the story.  They are two separate entities.

As for the sex where you believe Jack also penetrates Ennis, I am afraid that is wishful thinking and is not in the story or movie.   ;D

If you have a DVD that is 134 minutes long, I suspect you have the full original movie.  I can't see the studio putting different scenes into a movie for foreign distribution.

I got the full screen DVD last Thursday, widescreen yesterday. All the free goodies are gone :( A couple of good friends (straight) want to borrow a DVD so they don't have to rent it. They're teasing me by that, which is OK. They can afford to rent or buy it! If they love the movie I'm going to tell them it's theirs. Can't think of a better gift right now.

yes, there was the dvd and the 2005 taxes declaration  :-\
They were so stuck in it that I had to pull it quite hard to get it lol. But the I'm a bit upset because anybody could have take it in the street. The postman should have let a paper to get the parcel at the mail office.  >:(
