MPJ and Lance... just beautiful!!! Moved me to tears!!  :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'(...

Don't like to be so pathetic, but when you see his pic and those moving words together it is just unbearable... I am off this thread... :i

Remembering is more than memory

Remembering is more than memory
Feelings that return as real as before
Loving that never ends

Remembering is more than memory
Feelings that bring tears as well as joy
Sorrow is just preparing smiles to take root

Remembering is more than memory
Feelings that real never go away
Loving is as natural as can be

Remembering is more than memory
Feelings that bring smiles also bring tears
Sorrow waters the soil so flowers will bloom

Remembering is more than memory
Feelings that strong cannot be hiddened nor ignored
Loving is to honor in words and in deed,
... as well as to never forget

Remembering is more than memory
... is loving you like this, always.
Remembering is more than memory
... is loving you like this, always.

Beautiful words,Andrew,as beautiful as our boy... :\'( :\'( :\'(
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

Oh,Loreen,I didn't mean to make cry¡ But it's logical that each one of us has their own way of honouring Heath and sometimes one can't stand the other's way.As we have said before, each way is as good as any other, even,of course, not reading anything in this thread if you suffer too much. :^^)

I know that it's stupid, but I usually stay far from Heath's threads. Only sometimes I dare to peek and to post... :(

It's not stupid at all... %( There're some Brokies, like Keren, who needs being here every day and others who, simply, can't stand it.This doesn't mean that ones or others loved Heath more;only that each one has their own way of mourning. :ghug: and to who can need it.

As it is written in the short story, "They were respectful of each other's opinions, each glad to have a companion where none had been expected." This here forum is a big valley of peace and friendship, as friend Tony once said. It's a big valley with many sunny spots, some filled with laughter and good humor, others are secluded and quiet with a bubbling brook and a picturesque garden of fragrant flowers and eternal candle flames, surrounding a few stone benches here and there, embracing the peace and quiet conducive to a moment of remembrance, of grateful memory.

You are welcome, friend Loreen, to find your own place in this valley. Feel free to explore all the corners, stake out your own claim, set up your own homestead, because you bring to us your love for a movie, and we are grateful to share in your love.

:ghug: :^^) :c) ^f^ I hope you feel better where ever you linger.

Heath, you are loved, like this, always.

At first the dictum in german words and than I wil try it in english. If someone find a better words, please translate! Thanx!

Menschen treten in unser Leben und begleiten
uns eine Weile. Einige bleiben für immer,
denn sie hinterlassen ihre Spuren in unseren
Herzen.

Now the translation:

People come into our lives and guide
us for a while. Some will stay for ever,
because they leave their traces in our
Heart.

Goodbye At Last
by Barbi D

Saying goodbye is never easy
It's the hardest thing to do
But what hurts even more
Is not the chance to say it to you.

Yesterday is just a memory
Our laughter was sunny and bright
Then clouds started to gather
For you were no where in sight.

You were my first real love
And this I will never forget
How you left without a warning
No good-byes, my only regret.

Wherever I may be now
Always searching for another so true
To place my world of emotion
Handing my love to someone like you.

If again I must go there
And experience all the pain
I would do it in a minute
For all the good I would gain.

No matter what my wrongs
You offered only love
Until the day you left me
For your new home up above.

I know you still are with me
Your love is within my heart
Though life is no longer present
Our souls will never part.

This is given to you in honor
Of all that we did share
I just wanted you to know, dear,
How much I really did care.

Also, I love what you said about our glorious valley of peace and friendship, Andrew.  So beautifully put, my friend.   :ghug:

Coincidence or not?  I just realized I watched The Patriot yesterday and yesterday was... 4th of July! ???

Good movie BTW, it was waiting for me to watch it for almost a year... the pile of unseen DVD is going down. :)

And yes I have many more unwatched with Heath.  I just take my time, each time I watch a ''new'' movie with him the sense of loss gets worse.  :-\\ :\'(

Thank you Heath!

Glad you stopped by...and I'll be along with you, finding out, perhaps, sooner than most of the others here whence Heath has gone...

kathy

tonight i watched heath ledger, a tribute and although it was quite good, showing a lot of his interviews, it made me sad  :\'(. why did someone so talented & beautiful have to leave this earth at such a young age? it just doesn't make any sense. maybe on the other side there will be more understanding of why these things happen.

Sleepless nights still.

 I had to stay awake.

My thoughts was of a beautiful smile ..

.. a handsome look

...his eyes ...

I open  my computer and set my soul free searching for those articles..
.. those captured moments ..
.. words speaks  as it was written..

Those  loving words expressed with tears..
.. and whispers..

The Distant Horizon

by aquarious3508 Feb 17, 2008; 06:34pm :

Dearest Ledger Family,

My sincerest condolences go out to you during this time of profound loss.  Truly, the world has lost a loving son, playful brother, and nurturing father.  If appropriate, I would like to dedicate a passage in memory and honor of Heath.  Please accept these few words as a symbol of not only my sympathy, but also all of my heartfelt well wishes…

Twilight’s somber grace has fallen upon a life all too brief.  As we mourn the loss of a once radiant soul, the world seems a little less bright.  The golden sun’s rays do not warm us as they once did.  The wind seems to gently blow around us instead of caressing us.  The trees do not dance as lively as they used to and the ocean’s waves no longer sparkle with life as they crash upon the shore.  And yet, upon a horizon quite distant from us there exists a pure and eternal peace.  In this place there is only joy and light-hearted laughter amongst a warming white glow.  There are sporting games to be played and amazing stories to be told of life and of love.  The spirits of lush trees and forests dance and sing alongside the hearty roaring of an endless ocean of glittering waves.  Amidst all of the pleasures and passions of this distant horizon, there is a radiant soul that gazes lovingly from his place atop the horizon.  Upon the gentle winds, a voice echoes softly as if to say…”I am all right.”

                                                                                        -Ellen Sunden
                                                                                         West Lafayette, Indiana

Still breaks my heart.....
This touching words dedicated to our dearest Heath...
the endless thoughts of him........

It was an old post.. but it always treasure  good memories ..
and make us at peace. Heath is somewhere .. away  from our eyes  but he stays with us..
.. whispering  with the wind.

Can't take my eyes off of you Heath.

"As we mourn the loss of a once radiant soul, the world seems a little less bright."

That's exactly it. Beautiful words, and heartbreaking indeed. thanks for sharing it, white angel... I wish he could see how much we love him. I don't know if he had a clue how deeply he touched people's hearts.
