Aguirre is interrupted by the ringing of the phone...:
Yeah? No. No! Not on your f*ckin' life!       (he  slams the headphone down..)

Meanwhile,we have seen how both Ennis and Jack are changing some shy glances, when the other is supposed not to realise it...Aguirre keeps on talking:

-Aguirre:-You got your dogs, your thirty-thirty, you sleep there. Last summer I had goddamn near 25% loss, I don't want that again.You.( he points at Ennis and he throws a watch to him): Fridays at noon be down at the bridge with your grocery list and mules... and somebody with supplies will be there at the pick-up. Tomorrow morning we'll truck you up to the jump-off.

Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

Aguirre begins to light a cigarette.  After lighting it, he notices that that Ennis and Jack are still there.  He eyes them a meaningful look which tells them that the "interview" is over.  They scurry out of the trailer.

New Scene.  Jacka dn Ennis are outside the trailer.  Jack lights a cigarette while Ennis puts on the watch Aguirre gave him.

Jack (offering his hand to Ennis abd introduces himself):  Jack Twist.

Jack:-Your folks just stop at Ennis?

Ennis :-del Mar...

Jack:-Nice to know you Ennis del Mar! (he gives while he's speaking a meaningful glance to Ennis, from head to toe).

New scene, in the bar.

JACK (taking a swig from his beer):  My second year up here. Last year a lightnin' storm killed 42 sheep - thought I'd asphyxiate from the smell. 'Course Aguirre got all over my back like I'm supposed to control the weather. Still, beats workin' for my old man - can't please my old man, no way. Why I took to rodeoin'. You ever rodeo?

Ennis doesn't wanna' talk much, nods his head slightly in reply, forces out a few words:

ENNIS: You know, uh, - I mean once in awhile, - when I got the entry fee in my pocket.

Ennis is slightly amused at the irony of Jacks question. Gives a summary of his life in less than thirty words. Jack listens in stunned disbelief . . .

ENNIS: No, they run themselves off. There wus, ah, one curve in the road in fortythree miles an' they missed it. So uh, bank took the ranch, an' brother an' sister they raised me mostly.

Taking Jack lighter, Ennis relights the butt of the cig that we'd seen him carefully flick off and stuff back in his coat pocket when he's standing all alone in front of Augirre's trailer.

New Scene.  At the jump-off point where the flock is being assembled.  Jack is trying out his horse while Ennis checks with the Basque on the sheep and supplies.

Basque:  Don't let them stray...  Joe will have your a** if you do!  One more thing...  Don't never order soup...  Them soup boxes are hard to pack!

-Ennis:-I don't eat soup. ( to Jack ) You wanna watch it there! That horse has a low startle point.

-Jack :-Doubt there's a filly that could throw me! Let's git, unless you wanna sit around tying knots all day.

Ennis remains with an expression in his face that seems to say that they are going to have a funny time together...

New scene:Accompanied by the so beautiful Gustavo Santaolalla - "Riding Horses" music. (sigh)(http://www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/brokebackmountain/ridinghorses.htm ....I hope it's OK)
Riding up the mountain with the sheep, Jack is holding a little  new born,  he and Ennis encouraging them by whistling, occasional tss..tss, whoa, whoa and up,up...  dogs are helping round the herd  together.
Cheeps' response:    .... mmeeeee....    :)

Jack :-Shit, that "Stay with the sheep, no fire" bullshit. Aguirre got no right making us do something against the rules.

two important scenes with no dialog but great faces that show the growing bond and attraction between these two men:

Ennis nods in silent agreement with Jack's gripe about Aguirre.

then, Jack heads back to the sheep, his horse crowhops a bit and Jack looks towards Ennis sheepishly, then Ennis (surreptitiously) watches Jack ride off.

Correct me if I am wrong, but here occurs the scene where Ennis looks up to the Mountain and spies Jack with the sheep (?)  This comes along with the various wordless scenes such as Jack sleeping, Ennis carving a wooden horse, etc.  Is my memnory correct here?

Anyway, the next piece of dialog we hear:

Jack is about to leave camp.  He is on his horse, and as a parting shot at Ennis, says:

Jack: No more beans!

Thomas: if your doing this from memory, yours is a whole lot better than mine -
I gotta check the print every time!
FYI -  this sequence goes, with Santaolalla's beautiful background score:

Jack sleepin' w/ the dogs;
  Ennis carvin' the horse;
    JACK: "No more beans"
      Ennis washin' and spying Jack on the mountain;
Jack takin' aim at a coyote, missin' and exclaiming:

        "Shit!"

After all these short scenes,we see Ennis who has gone and looked for some meal with the Basque shepard.

Ennis(thoughful) :I don't know.

Basque :Something wrong?

Ennis :Yeah, so what... Why didn't we get the powdered milk and the spuds?

Basque :That's all we got!

Ennis :Well...here's next week's.(he gives the list to the Basque)

Basque :Thought you didn't eat soup?

Ennis :Yeah, well, I'm sick of beans.

Basque(with a slighty sarcastic smile) :Too early in the summer to be sick of beans.

Ennis ( to the mules and without answering ): Come on.

[Thanks jackster!  Yes, I am doing this from memory...  except when I have to look up song lyrics!  :)]

We see Ennis heading back to camp.  In the background, we hear "The Streets of Laredo" or "The Cowboy's Lament".

Ennis is by a stream.   The horse rears.  Ennis sees that a bear is right in front of them.  The bear growls menacingly.  The horse throws Ennis off.  The mules make a disorderly exit, spilling the baggage all around.  Ennis, momentarily stunned, goes after them.

Ennis: Hold it!  Whoa! Sh*t! Come back here!

Meanwhile,Jack arrives to the campside, very surprised for not having found Ennis there.Later on,we see him sitting near the bonfire, drinking some whiskey and waiting for his fellow.Suddenly,he hears a sound; it's Ennis, who approaches to the campside, without realising Jack presence. He's rather angry.

-Ennis ( to the mules ):- Whoa here. Whoa! All right. f*** it. Okay, you bastard.

-Jack(getting up and very angry on his side) :-Where the hell you been ? Been up with the sheep all day, I get down here hungry as hell...all I find is beans. What in the hell happened, Ennis?
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

Ennis sits down on a log in front of the campfire:  Goddamn horse spooked, the mules took off, scattered food everywhere.
Ennis takes a tired breath.  Beans are about all we got left.
[they were] both high school dropout country boys with no prospects, brought up to hard work and privation, both rough-mannered, rough-spoken, inured to the stoic life.

Ennis( continues):  Got a whiskey or somethin'? ...  Dumbass mule...

Jack dips his bandanna in a pot of water then  gently tender the cut on Ennis's head. Ennis grabs the bandanna away from him and does it himself...but their fingers touch for a brief second before he does.
