Carbyville, :ghug: The date of your son's birthday will be forever something very special for you,and not only because he's your son; a new life's arrival was joined with the death of a young person, too young for not being able to give all what he had inside anymore... :_(  But Heath can be also an example for enjoying your son's luck for having such a loving parents and try to be such a good person as you are and as Heath was for his daughter.Every single tragedy can mean an impulse to improve our life,as Heath had done and would have wanted for his family, friends and for all of us,his fans.  :_( :_( :_(

MPJ, this is so wonderfully put, especially the bolded sentence. What wonderful insight!  :^^)

:t) so much for your kind words,Carbyville ¡ I don't know if I had written them in a beautiful way,but I can declare that I did it in the truest way, that's it...In this sense,Heath's premature passing away must learn us to create everyday a better and more creative life for ourselves and our beloved beings.Miss you,my angel. :_(
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

I just watched some videos of Heath on youtube. What finally broke me was a tribute video to the song "he was a friend of mine" and that just brought back the tears. :_(

I haven't been to this thread in a while but felt drawn to come in today and have a peek. And then I realized it's the 22nd. Strange coincidences.

Heath has been in my thoughts a lot lately and not when I'm thinking about Brokeback or any movie he was in. All of a sudden he's just there, some times I can even feel a presence. I hope that doesn't sound weird but that's how it seems to me. He was so special.

Oh wow, that sounds really special! I saw a tv-program the other day (http://www.sbs6.nl/web/show/id=1315192/langid=43) where this girl was able to see and talk to her parted uncle, and feel the presence of a lot of other people. She was very young and would not deal with it at this moment in her young live. So her 'portal' was closed (for the time being).
I think it would be wonderful to feel Heath so close. Precious!  <^( Enjoy!

I spent some time reading about Heath yesterday, something I haven't done in a long time. It made me feel sad and empty. Then it hit me again today, and as if it wasn't bad enough, I decided to watch the tribute video that we made for him when he passed. Maybe it's the upcoming 3rd anniversary, I don't know, but I think about him and feel a pain in my chest.

I still feel sadness, Keren.  Especially after hearing Michelle talk about him.   I can't believe it's almost 3 years

Aren't we at the stage these days when it just doesn't ... matter? It's a story of love and it's a story between two people. If people can't get over that and just accept it as a story, then that's their problem. I'm big enough and brave enough to do it. - Heath Ledger on doing BBM

With the 3rd anniversary of Heath's death so close, I watched Casanova last night in tribute (couldn't face Brokeback or any other movie where he played a troubled character)

God, he was beautiful... :_(
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

I've been watching a lot of tribute videos lately, interviews, the awards he won for The Dark Knight... he's on my mind so much. I can't believe that it's three years already, it doesn't feel that long to me. I still remember the moment I found out so clearly.

It's storming this morning in usually beautiful South Florida. At first I thought, "seems right, a beautiful day would not make sense today." But then I thought, actually that's not right, a beautiful day is more like he lived his life.

I'd like to think if he were here today he'd being doing something fun, like surfing or something. Of course he'd likely be working, making some amazing movie we'd all be looking forward to, thinking to himself, "I'll have fun tomorrow, there's plenty of time." So if any of you all feel like doing something great today....stop thinking about it, and go do it!

Luv y'all today and everyday  :ghug:

I was trying to think of something to say here today, then I heard this song.

Heath did so much in his 28 years and he will be remembered, always.

"Only Remembered"

Fading away like the stars in the morning
Losing their light in the glorious sun
Thus shall we pass from this earth and its toiling
Only remembered for what we have done

Only remembered, only remembered
Only remembered for what we have done
Thus shall we pass from this earth and its toiling
Only remembered for what we have done

Only the truth that in life we have spoken
Only the seeds that in life we have sown
These shall pass onwards when we are forgotten
Only remembered for what we have done

Only remembered, only remembered
Only remembered for what we have done
Thus shall we pass from this earth and its toiling
Only remembered for what we have done

Who'll sing the anthem and who'll tell the story
Will the line hold, will it scatter and run
Will we at last be united in glory
Only remembered for what we have done

Only remembered, only remembered
Only remembered for what we have done
Thus shall we pass from this earth and its toiling
Only remembered for what we have done

He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.
