Jack (in an incredibly cute sing-song voice): She got lucky....
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

New scene: Much later, both boys in the tent. Jack is awake and reaches over behind him, grabs Ennis' hand and places it on his crotch. Ennis jumps up like he's touched fire but Jack grabs him, holds his head and stares into his eyes then pushes Ennis' hand down to his crotch again. He then removes his jacket...

Ennis (voice blurred by sleep and drink): Wharryadoin'?

Jack unbuckles his belt with one hand

 :8 :8 :8 :8

Ennis suddenly reacts, flips Jack over, undoes his own belt and jeans, pulls Jack's jeans down, spits in his hand and enters Jack. They go at it in silence apart from some grunts and moans (and maybe some words that some people say they've heard!)

(This isn't so much of a recital as an entire screenplay!)

New scene: Next morning, Ennis wakes, sits up, rubbing his eyes. Realises where he is, turns and looks at a still sleeping Jack, then down at where his jeans are still pushed down. Looks out of the tent then pulls his jeans up and leaves.

Ennis is packing the horse when Jack comes out of the tent behind him, approaching as Ennis mounts the horse

New scene, Ennis sits atop of his buckskin and rides along a ridge.  Something eats his mind.
  ??? ::)

(...)

Ennis discovers a shredded sheep, clearly victim of a coyote pack.

A look of shame washes accross Ennis's face.  :-\\

(...)

Ennis meets Jack on the mountain... they look off in the distance

new scene: It's night, Ennis is sitting by the fire, Jack is in the tent.  Ennis, pensive, glances over the tent.  Decides.

Jack waits for Ennis, sits atop the bedroll, Ennis cautously steps in... Jack grabs Ennis's arm, pulls him in...

Jack:  I's all right... It's all right  :-\\ :\'( <^(
