It's a lovely old song that was very popular here in the states years ago. I'm not sure when it dates from, but I grew up with it too.

Happy birthday in Heaven,Heath¡. You won´t have any material things in the day of your birthday, but you´ll have others which are not touched, nor are seen, but that are felt. Because when you went away,you carried too much love with you that I know,there where you´re now, you will be very happy. And I also know that you will be by the side of Simone and Jarrad´s fathers,Andrew´s partner,my mother and all the dear beings who some of Brokies had lost; and that just like them, you will see us and you will take care of us somehow,of all these who still are missing you so much.
Despite everything,I´d have liked that you would be here, in the Earth, and that perhaps we would have bought a certain material  and prosaic object; but that would show the admiration and affection we all feel for you. Haven't been around for a week or so, but just wanted to say how moved I was by seeing the photos of Heath's pyjamas at the chessboard

And there have been so many beautiful poems and lyrics over the last few days that it's far simpler to thank everyone than try and do it individually.

And as for my privatejack's posy above (With one of my faovurite Heath pics  :\'() I completely agree. And I'm sure he'll be in everyone here's thought today.

I'm just trying to think of something I could do to mark it. But yes, Happy Birthday Heath! We'll never forget you.

And you know, I think it's exactly what Heath deserves - what's in our hearts and sincerely expressed. He always seemed to care more about what was true than what was slick. He could see the beauty in that, and that's one of the reasons I love him. :ghug:

Em, I watched Candy yesterday, and when I turned the DVD off and went back to the regular TV feed, The Patriot was showing on HBO. Guess it was just meant to be a day for Heath movies for me. Enjoy your viewing. And don't forget the tissues. :^^)
