Next scene:
Jack is on the mountain, when Ennis arrives on his truck. They smile at each other.
Jack:You're late.
Ennis:Look what I brought.
Jack:Beans?
Ennis:Yeah,I'm going to cook them the way I used to.

(After this,we can see the both of them riding on the forest and enjoying their time together). <^(
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

New scene:Ennis arriving in his blue track, approaching Jack with a smile.
Jack (smiling back): You're late.
"Look what I brought," we hear Ennis mumble in the background, as he and Jack meet up again to spend some time together.

"What Jack remembered and craved in a way he could neither help nor understand was the time that distant summer on Brokeback when Ennis had come up behind him and pulled him close, the silent embrace satisfying some shared and sexless hunger."

Next scene:
We can see Ennis working, giving grass to the cows.
Another scene:
He's with Alma and the girls in their dinning room, watching TV.Ennis looks like really bored, lying in the sofa.
Alma:It's Saturday night. You know...we could still smarten up and head on over to the church social.
Ennis:That fire and brimstone crowd?
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

Ennis drinks his beer and doesn't answer.

I think that the next is the bed scene:

Alma:As far behind as we are on the bills, it makes me nervous not to take no precautions...

Andrew, I think hpv quoted the scene that followed what jesseanne quoted - look at the post before yours. The bed scene follows the "fire and brimstone" discussion.

Alma:As far behind as we are on the bills, it makes me nervous not to take no precautions...

Ennis: If you don't want no more of my kids, I'd be happy to leave you alone.

Curious, what the hell happened to August? I thought there was one with Jack saying to Ennis...

You won't get much sleep. I will tell you that.

...

Oh well, carry on. I guess Ennis had to work in August.  :8

 Divorce court scene :

Custody of the two minor children Alma Delmar Jr and Jennifer Delmar is awarded to the plaintiff.   Defendant is ordered to pay child support to the plaintiff in the sum of 125 dollars per month for each of the minor children until they reach the age of 18 years.
Delmar divorced granted this 6th day of November 1975.

(Lance, they went up the mountain 2-3 times a year..."what the hell happened to August" is from the confrontation scene...  :)  )

sorry for OT, but I am sometimes too much of a bloodhound and not easily letting things go.

I meant what happened to August as in, if you look at the posts, there is a gap between July 21, and August 4. The post that I thought I was responding to, was probably August 3. Anyway, it don't matter much.

New Scene:

Ennis and Jack sitting by the fire after supper. Ennis enjoying his beans, licking his chops, and working his fork to get the last bean.

Jack: Your brothers and sisters do right by you?

Lance, the scene you are thinking of took place in 1963.  The scene we are up to (Ennis and Alma's divorce) takes place in 1975.

NEW SCENE:  1975, Wyoming - outside Ennis' home

Alma Jr. and Jenny are sitting in Ennis' truck.  Ennis is standing by the truck.  Jack drives up in his truck (King of the Road is playing on the radio).

Jack gets out of his truck and he and Ennis walk toward each other and hug each other tightly.

Ennis (smiling):  "What are you doing here?"

Jr and Jenny look and Jack.
Ennis:  "Say 'hi' girls."

Ennis doesn't answer, looks down.

Now back to recital.........

JACK (heavily disappointed, looking away):  Yeah, all right . . .

ENNIS:  Jack . . .

JACK: ( with a relinquish in his voice) : So I'll see you next month then.   :-\\

New scene: Juarez, Mexico.  Night.  A crowded street that opens to a dark alley.

Little girl: Vendo (venda?) chickle(t)!  Vendo (venda?) chickle(t)!

In the background, we here the opening verses of the song:

Siempre que te pregunto
Que, cuándo, cómo y dónde
Tú siempre me respondes
Quizás, quizás, quizás...

Mexico, an alley with all kind of types...

Jack stops in front of a Mexican male prostitute that asks: :"Senior?"
Jack nods and both men  get lost in the dark alley.

New Scene:  The home of Jack and Lureen Twist.  Thanksgiving Day

Jack and Lureen are carrying food from the kitchen to the dining room.  Sitting at the dining room table are Lureen's parents, L.D. and Fayette, and Jack and Lureen's son, Bobby.  In the next room a football game is playing on the television.

Jack places a platter with a roasted turkey on the dining room table and prepares to carve the turkey.  L.D. takes the carving knife and fork away from Jack and says:

LD:  Whoa, there Rodeo, the stud duck does the carving around here...
