Hello friends. :^^)

RL has been very demanding and I haven't been able to visit this thread much over the last few days. Now that I have caught up, I just have to say that I'm overwhelmed and so heartened by all of the wonderful things you have expressed. The love and appreciation for Heath and for each other can be felt pouring out of the computer screen. It is, once again, an amazing tribute to the people who brought us BBM and the family we have created here in honor of that. :ghug:

Thank you for all of the videos, collages, poems and personal thoughts you have posted. Knowing that we share these feelings really is such a comfort. Tony, this was beautifully stated:


Dear jessi - so beautiful and most of all, so heartfelt.  It's human nature to want that memorial place we can go, to remember.  But the only one I know of that will last, is us. I'd love to see that place we could go, but strangely enough, or maybe not so strangely, we are, ourselves, the memorial to Heath.  Each in our own way.  The outside world would never understand.  Again, keep writing, jessi - for us and our sweet angel.

And it echoes the same idea that Michelle shared, when she said that "we are all laying memorial with each word here."

I understand what you mean, when I come in this thread I always find so many beautiful tributes and thoughts for Heath and I feel my emotions can be understood here. I wonder if he knew he was so beloved, or if he knows it now, in the place where he is. You're right, we are lucky people to have been the recipients of the legacy he left  <^(  <^(. This is another gift for us after all the emotions he gave to us  <^(.

I have no words,FC,to express how beautiful is your post¡ ^f^  I really believe he knows all the emotions that are reflected here,from the place he' s now,and I'm sure he's feeling very proud of having left so many persons who love him here.And proud of having taken so much love with him also to his new home. <^(

Barb, your words are so gorgeous!!! Love them so much because you just said the same thing that Andrew and I said in another place talking about how difficult life is for some people in love. We just said: "We're the lucky ones", like some man who loved said once.

Yes, you deserve my thanks for sharing your thoughts and tributes to Heath here  ^f^, like everyone who do that deserve them  :ghug:. I am really glad to find in this thread so many beautiful words, thoughts and tributes to a such great person and actor, I feel myself understood and not alone to feel these emotions. Someone here writes very special things....I can find songs, poems, phrases, pictures, sometimes things that hit and touch me very deeply. That's why I say thanks to you all: thank you for sharing your feelings, and thank you for doing it in your unique, special way....Thank you for being here.
About Heath, yes, he gave so much to us all, so he deserves our gratitude, our friendship, our love in all ways we can give these thing to him. I often wonder what he thinks about all what we write here. Thank you for your kind words,Megalyn¡ :ghug:  :ghug: I only can speak for myself,and it's difficult to express some feelings with words,more still if you're not able to speak a language properly.But,as I think it was Sebas who said that all of us speak the language of love beyond any linguistics differences; and it' s love what we all feel for Heath and his memory.

MPJ - Completely agree, what beautiful words!!  <^( The language of love is undoubtedly what allow us all to understand each other's feeling and to share ours own. The language of love is what all us heard in Ennis and Jack's tender story and that brought us here. A very early morning to you all

This weeks been tough..just when I was beginning to believe that I'd managed to get my head around it and accept that Heath is not longer here..every advert break during my guilty pleasure of Hollyoaks (A UK soap) has had a trailer for Brokeback Mountain ahead of it;s terrestrial premiere on Sunday ..and there he is living and breathing ..his pictures in all the listing mags and I feel like I've been punched in the stomach again and find myself back in a state of disbelief waiting to wake up

And those of us, lucky enough to be here and pay attention during Heath's time here will never let what he achieved be forgotten. I'm sure in fifty, maybe even a hunderd years, he'll be seen as one of the all time greats, but we were the lucky ones who got to watch as it happen.

And though ways of the Universe we simply cannot fathom, I like to think he hears our thoughts about him, our prayers, that he saw all the tributes left outside his apartment and all around the world, that he was there on the beach that day with his friends and that he ses every post about him on forums and every video. And while I'm sure he in true Heath fashion would be embarrased by it, is inside beaming with the love thats has been shown for him and the tributes paid to him. And with a smile, and a twinkle in his eye, off he goes on his skateboard.

So yes, I like to believe he sees every post that is here. And I feel truly honoured to be a part of this forum, even though I haven't posted much due to real life getting in the way, and to be honest feelign sometimes, I had nothing to say that hadn't already been said a thousand times better. I just wished I joined a long long time ago, after I'd seen Brokeback to have joined in on all the discussions then. But this place is a remarkable part of Heath's legacy. And I hope it long continues. For as I read post over post that astounds me, with it's beautiful poetry and thoughts,and pictures, I can not be more grateful that all you wonderful people out there around the world have been brought together here and through your words and actions paying the biggest compliments to our prince among men, our troubled cowboy, our inquisitive storyteller, our Casanova, our evil Joker  - for he's all of these and so much more - the beautiful spirit that is Heath Ledger.

I know how you felt seeing those BBM adverts.....The day of Heath's birthday was the day that BBM was showed for the first time in the TV channels in my country.....so imagine me....all broken trying not to think about Heath and seeing his face in every channel...That was hard...I spent the night awake. My mother didn't help much saying during the whole day "hey, I saw your boys on TV; tonight this channel will play the film", and then again "hey, in this channel too!!!". Thanks mom, I was trying to forget....

That was beautiful Hayley.    I'd like to think Heath is still with us in spirit.   I know I believe my parents are and it will be at an odd moment that I'll suddenly feel their presence.   I think it is the same for me with Heath.

Sometimes I can't believe he's gone.   And with TDK's premiere coming up soon I feel so bad he is not here to be a part of it.   All the interviews I was looking forward to,  his fidgety self.   :\'(

I am glad I have a place I can come to with  people who understand what I am feeling now  :ghug:

And those of us, lucky enough to be here and pay attention during Heath's time here will never let what he achieved be forgotten. I'm sure in fifty, maybe even a hunderd years, he'll be seen as one of the all time greats, but we were the lucky ones who got to watch as it happen.

And though ways of the Universe we simply cannot fathom, I like to think he hears our thoughts about him, our prayers, that he saw all the tributes left outside his apartment and all around the world, that he was there on the beach that day with his friends and that he ses every post about him on forums and every video. And while I'm sure he in true Heath fashion would be embarrased by it, is inside beaming with the love thats has been shown for him and the tributes paid to him. And with a smile, and a twinkle in his eye, off he goes on his skateboard.

So yes, I like to believe he sees every post that is here. And I feel truly honoured to be a part of this forum, even though I haven't posted much due to real life getting in the way, and to be honest feelign sometimes, I had nothing to say that hadn't already been said a thousand times better. I just wished I joined a long long time ago, after I'd seen Brokeback to have joined in on all the discussions then. But this place is a remarkable part of Heath's legacy. And I hope it long continues. For as I read post over post that astounds me, with it's beautiful poetry and thoughts,and pictures, I can not be more grateful that all you wonderful people out there around the world have been brought together here and through your words and actions paying the biggest compliments to our prince among men, our troubled cowboy, our inquisitive storyteller, our Casanova, our evil Joker  - for he's all of these and so much more - the beautiful spirit that is Heath Ledger.

I like the special way you talk about him, and I smiled thinking of him reading all our posts and watching the videos dedicated to him! He is a very loved person, like maybe he didn't know, and we are so lucky to have met him in some way. I agree, he changed also our own stars (really lovely thought  <^() and left us so many messages we can listen not only with our ears, but also and above all with our heart.

well im certifibly feeling pretty awful right now :(, sometimes im sad about it but coping but right now im just a mess. its just i keep expecting to see something about him on the news or here about a new film he is in or something and then it just hits me, these things just arn't coming i mean its not like i ever forget hwats happened... i mean i dont even understand it myself it just hits me harder sometimmes then others.  :\'( :\'( :\'(
