Friends, their estimate of the time to start lighting candles was a good one. Ethan and Michelle have been to the Brooklyn location and are on their way to SoHo now. It's so nice to see everyone banding together today, from our various corners of the world. :ghug:

I know God loves you, so that he took you to Him much too early... I know you are in a better place now, full of love, sun and peace. I can't read the text, but the tiny cowboy hat and boot are so sweet. I've seen Heath in other movies, but he'll always be Ennis to me.

I've just been watching Ravenus' "Hasta Mi Final" on youtube. It's always been one of my favourites, but it just seems so much more poignant now.

My candle is lit (it's 3:44pm eastern time here in Jacksonville, Florida).

I wish I could post a photo:

It's a tall white pillar candle, and with it is the cream-white cowboy hat I got while in Wyoming last winter, and the Wyoming State Flower, The Indian Paintbrush (bright red with soft, bud-like fuzzy petals).
